Lehigh Gorge State Park
A deep, steep-walled gorge, thick vegetation, rock outcroppings and many waterfalls characterize Lehigh Gorge State Park.
Lehigh River
A tributary of the Delaware River, is a 103 mile (166 km) long river. Designated a Pennsylvania Scenic River by the state's Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, "Lehigh" is an Anglicization of the Lenni Lenape name for the river, "Lechewuekink," meaning "where there are forks."

Saint Mark's Episcopal Church
The first Episcopal Lay Worship services were held in Mauch Chunk in 1829 by William H. Sayre, a devoted churchman. You can take a guided tour of this beautiful building.
